In one of the worst legislative sessions in Connecticut history, Governor Dan Malloy bullied fellow democratic legislators and trampled over the voters of Connecticut repeatedly. He eliminated the death penalty even though the majority of voters wanted it to remain. He bullied fellow legislators into a watered-down education bill several hundred pages long without giving anyone time to read it. His promise to use GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) accounting — thrown out the window. On the heels of a billion dollar tax increase, and finishing this year with a 200 million dollar budget deficit, Dictator Dan borrowed to cover the existing deficit and increased spending ANOTHER 100 million dollars. While medical marijuana use is against federal law, Dictator Dan thumbed his nose at the federal government. Dictator Dan Malloy via executive order, imposed forced unionization on private health care workers. $291 million dollars to Jackson Labs, A $600 million dollar magic busway that will have NO RIDERS. $700 million dollars for personal security. That's almost a BILLION DOLLARS just for personal security. And the list goes on and on. Dan Malloy does not remind us of an intelligent Governor, but a dictator who bullies others to get his way and keep his candy store stocked. Two more years of Dictator Dan before we send him packing. Connecticut is open for business? It's nothing more than a sad joke as CEOs just rated Connecticut as one of the worst states to do business in. Thanks Dictator Dan!
